Beijing News Shell Finance Report: According to the National Energy Administration, from midnight on the 28th day of the lunar month (February 15) to 24:00 on the first day of the Lunar New Year (February 17), a total of 539,300 highway charging piles included in the National Charging Infrastructure Monitoring Service Platform were surveyed. During the first three days of the Spring Festival holiday, the number of charging sessions for new energy vehicles on highways reached 1.4099 million, with an average daily charging volume of 11.8008 million kWh, a 63.05% increase compared to the same period last year. The operation of highway charging infrastructure remained stable, effectively ensuring the charging needs of people traveling by new energy vehicles for visiting family, tourism, and returning home during the holiday.
In the coming days, the return peak of the Spring Festival holiday will arrive. The National Energy Administration, together with relevant departments, will further strengthen scheduling and monitoring to continuously ensure the charging needs for new energy vehicle travel during the Spring Festival holiday.
