The ERC-8004 mainnet is about to go live, and this new standard could trigger a wave of conceptual enthusiasm. Planning ahead for related ecosystem tokens might be a good strategy.

I have focused on two directions. One is ecosystem projects based on the Base chain, and the other is related tracks within the Ethereum ecosystem. The implementation of new standards often releases incremental expectations, especially for projects that are early movers and have a well-developed ecosystem, making them more likely to attract market attention.

Of course, this type of investment inherently carries certain risks, and it is more about participating in the technological upgrade cycle. The key now is to identify projects that are genuinely following this wave of standard iteration, rather than just engaging in conceptual hype. Compared to that, projects with practical technological applications and ongoing ecosystem development are more reliable.

It's another cycle of concept hype, both the Base and Ethereum ecosystems need to be grasped. Wait, how to determine which are truly technical and which are just cutting leeks—that's the key, right? Projects that got in early do tend to rise easily, but the risks are not small; it still depends on the actual progress of the ecosystem. Is ERC-8004 really that powerful? It feels like every time a new standard comes out, it's the same rhetoric. Preemptive layout gives me a déjà vu of DAO and L2 challenging Ethereum back then.

The projects from Base are indeed making moves, but honestly, we need to distinguish who truly has substance and who is just riding the hype. The ones that will really increase in value are those with actual real-world applications, not just projects that can only tell stories. What kind of incremental benefit can ERC-8004 bring? It seems the market hasn't quite figured it out yet.
