Many builders work hard every day, with strong skills and forward-thinking ideas, but the hype never quite takes off. Little do they realize that the true gap in value often isn't in the ability itself, but in how that ability is presented.

You can think of ability as a light source—bright but easily overlooked. Telling a story is like a lens system that can magnify that beam of light multiple times and project it into everyone's eyes.

Informed people are pondering how to assemble this "lens":

**Layer 1: Clarify the Logic**
Don’t scatter your ideas everywhere. First, filter out the noise, organize the core information, and let the audience understand it in one go. This isn’t hypocrisy; it’s respect for their attention.

**Layer 2: Hit the Pain Points**
Data itself is cold, but you need to bring it to life—mapping from the audience’s perspective to show where their "pain" and "joy" lie. When they feel "this has something to do with me," they will truly stop and pay attention.

**Layer 3: Focus on Results**
Don’t get caught up in the hardships of the process (that’s an internal topic); directly point to the final outcome. People don’t want to hear how complex your engine is; they want to see that clear "projection" on the wall—the tangible value that can be realized.

The same applies in the crypto space. Project teams, investors, community members—no one is paying for the workflow. They are investing in the future you can deliver.

**Core Formula: Value Presentation = Hard Power × Narrative Skill**

With the same technology and ideas, why do some succeed in fundraising while others’ communities remain silent? This formula explains everything.

ngl, the "narrative > execution" framing here is empirically backwards imo. data suggests builder credibility actually correlates more with consistent shipping than polished storytelling. we've seen too many projects with pristine decks that shipped nothing.

This lens theory I believe in, many projects just die because they are "hiding and concealing" --- Solved it, those with fast funding indeed don't necessarily have better technology, they just know how to put on a show with lenses --- That's so true, a few builders I know are like that, code is super good but they don't tweet at all --- It feels like now in the chain circle, it's no longer about who has stronger technology, but purely about who can tell the story better --- The core formula hit me instantly, many good projects are destroyed by the mindset of "doing things quietly" --- Narrative power = fundraising power, this equation is a bit too real in Web3 --- The pain point mapping part is excellent, some projects have data that look amazing but no one pays attention --- Why do I feel like I'm describing myself, buried in work every day, but the heat is zero

Damn, that's why some project teams send out technical weekly reports every day but no one pays attention, while the neighboring project just tells a story and secures funding easily.

Well... basically, it's just about packaging. No matter how advanced the technology is, if no one knows about it, it's useless.

That's right, having good technology isn't enough; you have to know how to hype... not just hype, but tell stories. In the blockchain circle, those who succeed in fundraising are not necessarily more technically skilled than you; they just know how to package themselves.

It's so heartbreaking; no matter how awesome the technology is, if no one knows about it, it's useless.

Honestly, I admit I buy into this lens theory. I've seen too many project teams with impressive technology but who can't get anyone to listen when they speak—it's almost like they have "I'm very awesome" written on their faces.
