Today's Story-1
Once upon a time, deep in the forest, there lived a fox and a hedgehog. The fox was clever and agile, researching new hunting techniques every day, designing complex routes to track its prey, and even drawing maps on trees to mark the times and paths where each rabbit might appear. Meanwhile, the hedgehog did just one thing every day: basking in the sun at the entrance of its burrow, and when hungry, leisurely flipping through fallen leaves to find some bugs to eat.
One day, heavy rain fell for three days, and the mountain flood washed away the path, destroying the fox's map. He was trapped on the mountainside, unable to find food, feeling quite miserable. However, the hedgehog's burrow was on higher ground, and the earthworms under the fallen leaves were washed to the surface by the rain, making them easier to catch than usual. After the rain stopped, the fox asked in confusion, "You never prepare, how do you always manage to live so easily?" The hedgehog smiled and said, "Though I may not be lucky, I take fewer paths, and every step I take is solid."
These words left the fox in deep thought. He began to understand that sometimes, a complex system might not be efficient, while a simple path, as long as it is stable and reliable, can better adapt to changes.
This reminds me of @LABtrade_ that I recently tried out. They are indeed building a multi-chain trading infrastructure, not just a platform that sells tokens on a single chain, but aiming to make transactions between different chains more direct. You don't have to switch apps, wallets, and networks constantly, which is quite convenient.
In practice, the cross-chain process is indeed smooth, the path automatically selects the optimal route, and the confirmation is quick, with few instances of getting stuck in between. The extra money spent might be saved in time and operational costs - just like the short yet always passable path of the hedgehog.
Currently, registration cannot be done randomly; you need an invitation code or to fill out a form to wait for the backup list. The official explanation is that they are controlling the pace to avoid putting too much pressure on the early system, which could affect the experience. This is reasonable, after all, as things are still undergoing testing.
Overall, they didn’t shout too many slogans, but the necessary features were implemented, and the processes were made clear. In this circle filled with flashy concepts, being focused and steady like a hedgehog with each step brings more reassurance. If you often transfer assets between several chains, this platform is worth paying attention to.
