European leaders: Russia cannot exercise veto power over Ukraine's accession to the EU or NATO.

Jin10 reported on August 16 that European leaders issued a joint statement: Russia should not restrict the Ukrainian armed forces or their cooperation with third countries, and Russia cannot exercise a veto over Ukraine's path to joining the EU and NATO. International borders should not be changed by force, and we will continue to support Ukraine. We will continue to strengthen sanctions and broader economic measures to exert pressure on Russia's economy until a just and lasting peace is achieved.
